Admiring The Wedding Of The Decade

As all Europe was admiring the wedding of Prince Felix of Luxembourg with Miss Claire Lademacher Saturday September 21st, it was revealed that Little Eglantine made the children outfits.

Little Eglantine, created by the French designer Stephanie Staub, offers made-to-order dresses for flower girls, and stylish suits for page boys, for weddings, First Holy Communions or parties.
Little Eglantine has brought colour and playfulness to the weddings of many celebrity and society brides, who love the personal and sophisticated touch of French Haute Couture.

What makes Little Eglantine so unique not only lies in the exceptional and innovative design Stephanie offers, but also in the choice of her embroidered or plain taffetas’ fabrics or silk organza’s and much more.

Smitten with perfection and refinement, the designer will help the bride-to-be choose and develop designs that look perfect on children.

Princes Noah and Gabriel, the sons of Prince Louis and Princess Tessy of Luxembourg were wearing military jackets on a double breasted shirt with officer's collar and a pair of knickerbockers with a big cummerbund. Miss Claire Lademacher had chosen a beautiful white linen-cotton fabric and a pale blue taffeta to make the pipings, the brandebourgs and the covered buttons of the shirt. Half-ball silvery buttons – traditionally used on military uniforms- were completing the jackets.

The flower girls, twins Flora and Katarina Frankopan, daughters of Don Peter Frankopan and Jessica Frankopan, born Sainsbury, were wearing charming dresses made of the same white linen-cotton fabric. The knee length dresses were embellished with a pale blue taffeta piping all along their lovely boat neck. Delicate flounce sleeves completed the look. The buttons, covered with the same pale blue taffeta, matched the little princes' outfits. Each child had his name embroidered inside his garment.

“Creating the bridal party outfits for Miss Claire Lademacher has been a real pleasure; she is so sweet and kind”, remembers Stephanie Staub, the designer. “Claire wished for simple children outfits, in soft shades. I feel very honored to have had the opportunity of creating the children outfits for the royal wedding”, Stephanie said. “I hope that the children enjoyed wearing their garments as much as I enjoyed making them for them.”
