Designer Dresses in the Spotlight: Anoushka G

One of my favourite shows from last month's bridal catwalks in London had to be Anoushka G. The new 'Around the World' collection from the London label wowed audiences showcasing the most gorgeous dresses, with international influences from as far afield as Greece, Japan and South America, as well as vintage styles reminiscent of 1920s New York and 1950s London.

Every dress was a delight and each one seemed prettier than the last! Delicate beading and flowing fabrics made for a soft, feminine feel, ideal for destination weddings.

Designer Anna told us, "We've taken the look as ‘round the world’ this year, because we really specialise in destination brides, so it’s all very soft and flowing with loads of chiffons. We've also really brought in lace, so it’s all very feminine and pretty with lots of sparkle. There's quite a bit of sleeve coverage and shoulder detailing with little appliquéd flowers and beading, so it's all quite delicate.

There are so many girls travelling these days, they don’t want the big, full on dress, so we’ve really gone for more slimline, more elegant, quite ageless looks."

If the pictures look pretty, the dresses looked even better in real life - a real highlight of the White Gallery show and an absolute delight to behold!
