Designer Dresses: Hot British Talent Part 1

Continuing our series of spotlights on the latest designer wedding dresses, today we bring you images from this year's British Talents catwalk show at White Gallery, London, which featured, amongst others Johanna Hehir, Hollywood Dreams, Hazaar of London & Blue Bridalwear.

Opening the show was Johanna Hehir, who over the past ten years has established herself as one of London's leading bridal designers. With sleek silhouettes defined by a clever use of pleating and intricate lace and fine dead detailing, Johanna's new collection will appeal to a variety of different tastes.

The new collection from Hollywood Dreams/Chic by Hollywood Dreams presented classically inspired styles featuring fitted bodices and contrasting billowing skirts with layering and asymmetric detailing, as well as more slimline dresses, combining Hollywood glamour with a modern and sophisticated edge.

Highlighted as one of the show's new talents was Hazaar of London, whose designs delighted with their understated style statement and unique twist on traditional bridal wear which sees adaptable dresses with removable over and underskirts, transforming the brides look from day to evening.

Inspired by style icons of bygone eras, Blue Bridalwear’s modern retro range hinted at the 50’s and 60’s with strong simple shapes in crisp clean fabrics contrasted with boxy lace jackets and Jackie O style bows.
