Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
The Prize is up to £500 of Polly Edwards wedding accessories from the available collections as shown on the Polly Edwards website (http://www.pollyedwards.com). The prize can be a single piece, or a number of pieces depending on their total value.
Polly Edwards headpieces and tiaras are all lovingly handmade to order and can take 4 weeks to make.
Please ensure that there is sufficient time after the competition closes and before your wedding day in order for your piece or pieces to be made.
The prize must be taken from 4 weeks post the Competition close date of 30th Septembert 2011 and before 31st July 2012.
Rules:
1. This prize is offered by Polly Edwards and is promoted through TheWeddingVine.com.
2. By entering this contest, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the website and the contest. Note that we may modify these terms and conditions and the rules of the contest from time to time without notice.
3. This contest is free and open to UK residents aged 18 and over, and you must be in no way affiliated with either TheWeddingVine.com Limited or Polly Edwards.
4. Registration for the contest is through using the online form on the website. We’ll collect personal information from you, and this will be handled in line with our privacy policy and that of Polly Edwards. Any information you do give us needs to be current, truthful and complete.
5. We will select the winner at random from a list of all entrants after the competition has closed.
6. The winner agrees to take the Prize as-is within the agreed timescales, and recognize that there is no cash alternative allowed. Should the winner decide they want additional products or services not explicitly listed in the prize description, these are at the sole cost of the winner and subject to availability and agreement of Polly Edwards.
7. CONTEST DISCLAIMER: Once finalized by TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards, the decision is final and is not subject to appeals.
8. Details of the winning Entry can be requested by writing to TheWeddingVine.com Limited referring to the name of this Competition at the Promoter's address set out below after the closing date of this Competition.
9. The Prize must be taken before 31st July 2012. The prize will be made with your selection of band colour (where applicable) and with the decoration on a side you specify (where applicable), and is not refundable or returnable
10. There is no cash alternative, and the prize is non-transferable.
Disclaimers:
1. The winner assume all liability for any costs, losses, expenses, delays, injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by his or her participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize, and release TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and assigns and advertising and promotional agencies and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively "Released Parties") from any such liability. Released Parties assume(s) no responsibility for any injury or damage to Participant's or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from this Contest.
2. By entering the contest, you agree to indemnify TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or relating to any violation of this Agreement or any other wrongful activity related to this contest of website (including but not limited to infringement of third parties' worldwide intellectual property rights or negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your user name and password.
3. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner's name, city, county, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
4. Any attempt by a Participant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest or the site is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards reserve the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwads are not liable for any delay or failure of the site or the Contest to perform. There is no guarantee that Participants will be able to access the site whenever and wherever desired. There may be extended periods of time when you cannot access the site for various reasons, many beyond our control. No corrections or adjustments will be made for votes affected by the site's operation or downtime. The Competition will not recognize entries the site did not process.
6. Winners of any phase this contest waive all rights of privacy and publicity and expressly allow TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards to publicize their names, picture and prizes as they see fit.
7. By registering for the contest, you agree that we can keep you informed of progress by email. We will only contact you through email, and it is your responsibility that you respond promptly if required to any emails that we send to you. Neither TheWeddingVine.com nor Polly Edwards will be held responsible if you do not respond to an email we have sent to you. You also agree that TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards can contact you in the future by email, postal mail or telephone as required.
8. You may not transfer any rights or obligations you may have under this Agreement. We reserve the right to transfer or to subcontract any right or obligation under this Agreement at our sole discretion without your consent. A person who is not a party to this Agreement has no rights under this Agreement.
9. If any term or provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, such term or provision shall not affect the Agreement's other terms or provisions, or the whole of this Agreement, but such term or provision shall be deemed modified to the extent deemed necessary to render such term or provision enforceable, and the rights and obligations of the Parties shall be construed and enforced accordingly, preserving to the fullest permissible extent the intent of the parties and the Agreement's purposes.
10. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
11. In the event of any unanticipated occurrence that was not fully addressed by the Rules, TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards may modify the Rules to address such occurrence.
12. In the event this disclaimer is held not to be enforceable or is otherwise invalidated, TheWeddingVine.com and Polly Edwards, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors and agents to any contestant reserve the right to withdraw the contest and Prize, and shall not be liable to offer the prize or any alternatives.
