Saima and Jon's Chic Wedding at London's Hip Haymarket Hotel
The chic wedding of Saima and Jon was beautifully photographed by talented Premier Portfolio member and celebrities choice, Ken Buist. Where old meets new, their stylish wedding at London's hip Haymarket Hotel, took place in the traditional setting of the Victorian shooting gallery followed by a chic celebration by the pool. The bride wore a stunning Caroline Castigliano gown in red, beautifully complemented by Jimmy Choos and an elegant bouquet of ivory roses.
Saima and Jon first met through mutual friends on a day out to Alton Towers Resort. Jon was either hard of hearing, or his friends tricked him, as he was expecting to meet a "Simon" not the gorgeous Saima. So you can only imagine the surprise and delight when they met. They hit it off straight away and after a fun day at Alton Towers the first date was arranged for the following week at a lovely restaurant. The first date was an outstanding success, being kicked out of the restaurant after 5 hours because the restauranteur want to go home for the night.

They wanted their wedding in central London to be both stylish and fun for everyone attending. They chose the very hip Haymarket Hotel, the perfect stylish venue for the entire day of ceremony and celebrations. Everything took place in the one venue, avoiding the stress of London traffic. This is a gem of a hotel, situated in the heart of London's theatre district.
Saima was staying in the hotel suite on the preceding evening, so she had the luxurious hotel setting for getting ready on the morning of her wedding. The ceremony itself took place in the opulent Shooting Gallery. This room was historically used for shooting practice in the 1800's by country men visiting London town. How cool and eccentric is that? The walls are covered in a dramatic wallpaper featuring jungle landscapes in grey sepia tones. It is furnished with an eclectic collection of furniture including 1970’s lucite tables and lamps and artwork by Oliver Messel. What a gorgeous setting for such a stylish wedding ceremony. The colours and designs of the Shooting Gallery were the perfect backdrop for Saima in a stunning red dress, designed by Caroline Castigliano. It is tradition in Saima's culture to wear red on the wedding day and this creation from Caroline Castigliano is simply amazing. Jon looked very sharp in his bespoke suit by Whitcomb & Shaftsbury. What a stylish couple!
After the ceremony guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the Hotel Library, while the Shooting Gallery was transformed for the wedding breakfast. After dinner and speeches everyone moved downstairs for a wonderful pool party, but without any swimming. The Haymarket Hotel has a stunning swimming pool bar area with a long pewter bar plus dramatic lighting and sound system. This was a very unique and urban setting for the evening party, entertainment provided by energetic funk & soul band - Flood the Floor.

26th September 2011 at 10:58 amExtremely gorgeous wedding! The bride is really beautiful herself,it is not just the merit of good make up. It is great, that the bride had chosen a bouquet simply of white roses,so, it will not catch all attention, because her dress is so beautiful and a tracery is very complicated.Thank you for sharing!
