Wendy and Greg’s Romantic African Wedding Part 2

Today we bring you part 2 of Wendy and Greg’s spectacular 'Out of Africa' Wedding at Tala, Durban’s finest Private Game Reserve.  The stunning images were submitted by the extremely talented Segerius Bruce Photography.

If you missed the first part of this fabulous African wedding yesterday, you can see it here.

We decided on a Red and White theme, both romantic and elegant, and incorporated African themes too. I wanted our wedding to incorporate as many personal touches as possible and I made the seating plan myself by making a collage of photographs of Greg and my time and adventures together so far. For wedding favours, we gave everyone African Love Letters and miniature bottles of Amarula! Our cake was a tower of red and white cupcakes, which were a delicious mix of vanilla and chocolate.

Roses are my favourite flower so I had them everywhere, my very special friend, Jane Cross Upton, did them for me and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result! Zulu dancers come and danced for all of our guests, they even got some of our guests to take part ... it was great the way they shared their wonderful culture with everyone.

It was amazing to be surrounded by our family and friends on our wedding day but the best thing of all was that I got to marry my best friend!

Congratulations to Wendy and Greg and many thanks to the extremely talented Segerius Bruce Photography for submitting these stunning images // Ceremony and reception venues:  Acacia, Tala Game Reserve, South Africa // Wedding Cake by Buttery Cup Bakery
