The Wedding Vine cant wait to attend the wedding preview weekend at Wroxall Abbey Hotel & Estate, a privately owned and personally run venue. 
 
Situated in the heart of England, Wroxall is ideally located just 10 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham International Airport, at the centre of the motorway network (M40, M42, M6, M1 & M5) and with excellent rail links to London, Heathrow, and the rest of the country. In an area steeped in history Wroxall is on the doorstep of Warwick and Kenilworth Castles and Shakespeare’s Stratford making it the ideal venue for business or leisure for both national and international guests.
 
The history of Wroxall is a rich and varied one beginning in the 11th Century and continuing to evolve to the present day. Founded as a Priory in 1141 AD the Aunt of William Shakespeare, Isabella, was prioress and the Chapel served as their family church for several years. In the years after the dissolution of the monasteries, Wroxall changed to a country Estate and in 1713 was sold to Sir Christopher Wren, many members of the family are buried in the Chapel & Graveyard in the grounds.
 
Wroxall boasts a magnificent collection of listed buildings and private grounds including the 11th Century Chapel recently elevated to the status of Cathedral, by becoming the seat of the Bishop of the Order of St Leonard on 25th July 2009. Wroxall is now the only hotel in the country able to offer Christian wedding ceremonies and regular church services in its own Cathedral.
 
 
The Grade II listed Victorian Mansion offers 48 air-conditioned bedrooms abundant with period features such as original marble fireplaces and high ceilings. Wroxall Court is a self contained listed building with historic clock tower offering a further 24 unique bedrooms, individually designed and ranging from executive accommodation to bi level loft suites.
 
Guests can relax in the classic Champagne and Cocktail Bar that is the Broadwood, with roaring log fires, leather armchairs and unspoilt views across the gardens and parkland. Adjacent to the Broadwood Bar is the Garden Lounge with comfortable sofas, relaxing atmosphere and direct access out to the Sun Terrace for coffee or pre or post dinner drinks.
 
Experience the culinary delights and dine in splendour in our Sonnets Restaurant. The magnificent fireplace, rich oak floors and views over the Sun Terrace to the countryside beyond, create the perfect setting and ambience to accompany our selection of Seasonal dishes using wonderful local ingredients including Fresh Game from the Estate.
 
 
The Vaults Pub with tall wood panelling and marble fireplace is the traditional hideaway pub alongside a collection of function suites making the perfect inclusive venue for any event.Open for casual summer dining and leading onto the cobbled courtyard, Arches provides the perfect setting for the Sunshine or Sundowners drinks.
 
With its heated indoor pool, Steam & Sauna rooms, Spa Pool and fitness area, the Club is a comfortable and intimate place to relax and unwind.Our inviting treatment rooms and trained therapists offer a wide range of relaxing therapies from ESPA and other leading houses for the complete de-stress experience.
