Founder and pastry chef Roma Finlinson honed her craft by training at the world renowned cookery school Le Cordon Bleu. Graduating from the prestigious school Roma, she began to produce cakes from her London home and thus Sweetness was born, using her skills in French patisserie to create bespoke cake with unrivalled elegance.

The bakery prides itself on offering a highly personalised service, with appointment only you are ensured the attention and care every happy couple wants. When it comes to each individual taste and requirement you know you are in safe hands. Furthermore, Roma herself is involved from the beginning of the process on hand at each step to offer to expert advice on sugar, spice and everything nice.

Cake Flavours

Classic Victoria – Madagascan vanilla sponge soaked in vanilla bean syrup, layered with raspberry conserve and vanilla bean buttercream.

Zesty lemon – Lemon sponge soaked in lemon syrup, layered with lemon buttercream and homemade lemon curd.

Dark chocolate truffle – Belgian chocolate sponge layered with dark chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream.

Luxury fruit cake – Traditional, rich, cognac soaked fruit cake.

Carrot and walnut – Carrot and walnut sponge layered with your choice of either vanilla bean or lemon buttercream.

Espresso coffee and walnut – Coffee and walnut sponge soaked in espresso syrup and layered with double espresso buttercream.
