Dalhousie Castle, Edinburgh

A Scottish Castle is the most idyllic wedding venue to make your special day absolutely perfect, with options that include your wedding ceremony in the chapel or a civil wedding ceremony in one of our fabulous function rooms. A wedding at Dalhousie Castle also means less to worry about: the ceremony, the reception and accommodation in the most majestic surroundings are all under one roof and the most romantically dramatic photo opportunities.

Guests can enjoy the delights of nearby Edinburgh and the accessibility of Edinburgh Airport to make the whole wedding a special and memorable wedding occasion. Steeped in turbulent history, the romance of Dalhousie Castle is all about the memories of the day and the splendour of Scotland. Indeed, it’s difficult to imagine a more romantic setting for a wedding ceremony or civil partnership ceremony, an occasion that will cast a spell on both the Bride and Groom and their guests, during the ceremony itself, afterwards at the reception and later at the celebration. A celebration that can take place in the same medieval castle in which Edward I or Mary Queen of Scots once stayed.
