Multi Million Pound Orangery!
One of the UK’s most prestigious hotels, Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa has unveiled plans for its new multi-million pound Orangery. After ten years of planning, the top hotel in Kettering, has finally been granted planning permission and will be opening the grand new stately rooms in 2017.
The first of its kind within the Midlands, Rushton Hall’s new Orangery will be the perfect venue for weddings, conferences and events and will be able to cater for up to 300 people. To keep in style with the Grade I listed building, the large venue are using an Architect who specialises in listed buildings to help with the design and style. With five stages of construction, the luxury Northamptonshire hotel are using the same stone as the rest of the Hall to ensure that the Orangery fits with the look and feel of the rest of the beautiful historic stately home.
Tom Gilbert Rushton Hall’s Head of Sales & Marketing said: “This is a very exciting time for us here at Rushton Hall. Being such a popular venue for events, we wanted to not only offer our guests something extraordinary but also cater for a larger number of guests in spectacular surroundings. The Orangery will be a stunning wedding venue and its flexible layout makes it ideal for conferences and events too. We will also now be able to hold trade shows and exhibitions, something that we have not been able to do previously. Six bedrooms with access to the wonderful gardens will also be added”.
The Orangery went through several planning processes, including having to be approved by Historic England, due to Rushton’s rich history. Rushton Hall was originally built in 1438 and Thomas Tresham put the front gallery on to complete the building in 1600. Further alterations and additions have been made in later years.
Nestled in the heart of Northamptonshire, Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is a magnificent Grade I Listed, Four Red Star Hotel and Spa. With 46 individually styled bedrooms and suites, the hotel offers luxurious accommodation alongside being the only three rosette restaurant within Northamptonshire. Rushton is the ideal venue for any event including conferences, parties as well as weddings. Surrounded by 25 acres of grounds with a lake and ancient trees, the popular hotel is steeped in rich history and the perfect place to unwind and feel at home.
