We are Ian and Hazel, happily married and both professional wedding photojournalists.
What makes us so different? We capture intimate moments, the emotion, the fun and the people closest to you. With two points of view, always in two
different places, we provide a unique storytelling perspective. We will never interfere or try to take charge, we will photograph your day with passion, sensitivty and courtesy.
We will produce for you a set of timeless images bursting with emotion, simple yet creative and free from digital gimmicks. Each collection is as individual as you are, evoking memories and the story of the most important day of your lives for you to look back on and treasure forever.
Although nothing is posed, contrived or staged, we are happy to shoot a small number
of close family groups and we will also shoot some creative portraits of you,
never dictated or tawdry, but always stylish, relaxed and comfortable.
We prefer to leave it to our portfolio to speak for itself. We have both won
international awards for our wedding photojournalism, but it is the wonderful
comments both brides and grooms as well as guests have made about our work
and about us that mean far more to us.

The two of you were amazing on the day – we hardly knew you were there! Your organisation of everyone after the mass was superb! Everyone did as they were told! Fab! We had such a laugh doing the “billowing veil” shots too! You both put us at ease and we felt totally comfortable with everything you asked us to do. True professionals! As for the photographs, what can we say? Mark and I settled ourselves down last night to look at the photos and by the time we got to the end we had laughed and cried and reminisced our way through the stunning collection of pictures, reliving the story of our amazing day. There is one in particular of us in the church, at the altar and the expression on my dad’s face made me burst into tears straight away. Its so full of emotion, so well-captured. And the black and white one of Mark and I in the back of the car – we look flawless! The ones in the bedroom at West Tower worked really well too. How we are going to narrow them down to 60, we don’t know, but its going to be a pleasure doing so! We’re over the moon with them and thank you wholeheartedly. Claire and Mark Hirst
